Last weekend we met Robby and Meghan at the Fashion Mall to take Li'l Robby off of their hands for the night.
We did a little shopping.
The ladies at Tory Burch always give G a tiny apple juice box as she lounges on the velvet sofa while I browse. She's a fan.
We scooped up our baby after we installed the latest and greatest space age car seat. Our carseat looks like a picnic basket in comparison.
Robby enjoyed his bath at our house.
He is crawling quite rapidly these days, so I did not sit down a lot.
G was in heaven, mostly because he complies with her every request!
They played hide and seek.
They enjoyed long conversations on the couch
and while they dined.
He was absolutely perfect for the 24 hours that we had him.
He slept from 7:45-6:45 without a peep.
Yassss!
On Thursday we attended Family Creative Play Night at G's preschool.
She hung with her bestie, Andrew.
They are kind of like a 80 year old married couple or perhaps brother and sister.
They don't hesitate to yell at each other.
Their teacher helped them take an order at their pizza parlor.
The next day G hopped in the car at car rider line with a basket that she won in the raffle.
She was jazzed.
We celebrated with apple cider slushies after school on Friday.
On Saturday morning we attended my school district's annual running event.
She posed with both the Southport Cardinal
and the Perry Meridian Falcon.
Don't forget the Chickfila cow. Sister will be peeved, but Ronald McDonald was not there.
She got a massage at the health fair.
Trinity ran the 5K and then he did the 1 mile run/walk with us. Amazingly, Genevieve ran the entire mile with her father and had an official race time of 10 minutes.
We were both shocked.
I hustled behind and finished 45 seconds later.
I'm no runner.
The champion posed with her medal!
