Last weekend we had some special visitors. Abby and Papi arrived for the night on Saturday. Abby was in the mood for seafood, and what Abby wants, Abby gets!
I love Bonefish Grill too, so we enjoyed dinner and stuffed ourselves silly.
On Sunday Genevieve participated in her first annual Suzuki concert. This concert showcases the children performing in small groups. They all have to dress alike and G channeled her inner Eloise in this sassy number-
G is in the pre-twinkle group. She will be a pre-twink until she can play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on her violin.
That will be a long while yet.
She and her group classmates performed a song with rhythm sticks and did a dance to Twinkle.
She was pleased as punch with herself.
After she was done, she ran to us and was just beaming.

She was more than happy to pose with her fans.
Bob came solo, since YaYa already had her flight to travel to Naples with her gal pals. When she learned that she would miss G's performance she was so bereft she practically took to her bed for a week. I'm kidding.
It was just a day of bedtime depression.
She was happy with her Bob.
Abby and Papi departed after and Bob took the three of us for a celebratory dinner at Shapiro's. I had a cup of vegetable soup and a slice of chocolate cake that was bigger than my face.
Balance, people.
We were so proud of our girl!
We are jazzed for her recital at the end of April. She will be performing solo and plucking notes on her violin with her finger. The only bow present on stage will be the giant one in her hair!
