Valentine's Day weekend was fun this year. I received this bunch of pretties at school, and those chocolates at home. We had an ice/snow storm hit right when school was dismissing, and it took me an hour to get home to my love.
Boo hiss to this horrific weather we have been having. My parents kept Genevieve last weekend so we had lots of spare time on our hands. We spent the majority of that spare time in REI.
In typical Trinity fashion he tried on every pack in the store, but left without one. He was doing his "research." It takes my husband months of research to make a purchase of any sort. We ate dinner at Plat 99, the bar in the Alexander Hotel.
Meanwhile, G was running Bob and YaYa ragged at the Children's Museum.
On Monday she started in the toddler room. She graduated from early toddlers, and will be in this room until she is two.
I really can't believe how grown up she looks now.
Wednesday morning was meltdown morning, as she refused to leave my closet. We compromised when I told her to pick anything from my closet to take to school. She gallivanted off with this horrendous customized Kashmir purse.
She cannot get enough of cats, particularly the resident one who loathes her.
"Kitty" continues to outscore "Momma" in terms of frequency in G's daily speaking.
She read her kitty book while holding her kitty.
Her newest hobbies include wearing a bib as a cape and pseudo feeding all of her animals.
This was taken right after she dumped her baby Stella onto the floor and screamed.
The concept of nurturing is still a bit foreign.
She handed me Rosita and I tried to model appropriate mothering behavior.
Rosita was then flung across the room.
The weather lightened up a bit at the end of the week and we cruised in the Coupe.
We are hoping for a week of better weather for jogger strolling and other forms of debauchery. I also hope to cut down on my lack of blogging.
